Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 · Meridian Auto Advisory LLC

California Privacy Rights

California residents hold specific rights over their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These include the right to ask what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the right to have that information deleted, and the right to learn whether it has been sold or disclosed. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, send a request to legal@meridianautoadvisory.com; we will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be revised from time to time. When a material change is made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect it. By continuing to use the website after a revision takes effect, you accept the updated policy. We suggest checking back on this page periodically.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, let us know at legal@meridianautoadvisory.com and we will remove it promptly.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate page usage and site performance. Depending on browser and service configuration, these tools may process information such as the page visited, referrer, device or browser type, approximate region, and performance timing. We use this information to operate and improve the site.

Pages that display Google reviews load an Elfsight widget. Elfsight and the services it connects to may receive technical request information and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. You can still read the site's first-party content if the external widget is blocked.

The application supports optional Google-tag event and conversion reporting after a successful form submission, but only when a Google tag is installed and the related conversion setting is configured. No Google tag is currently loaded directly by this application. If conversion reporting is enabled, this policy and the site's consent or notice controls must be reviewed and updated before activation. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may limit optional analytics, conversion reporting, or embedded review features.

Data Retention

Inquiry, engagement, transaction, and consent records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the inquiry, perform the engagement, maintain consent evidence, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet contractual or legal record-keeping duties. Third-party providers may apply their own retention schedules under their terms. For current retention details or a deletion request, contact legal@meridianautoadvisory.com.

Deletion of Personal Data

You may ask us to delete your personal information by emailing legal@meridianautoadvisory.com with the subject line "Deletion Request." We may need to verify the request and may retain records that are reasonably necessary for an active engagement, consent evidence, security, dispute resolution, contractual obligations, or applicable law. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal information when the law compels it, or in response to valid demands from public authorities — a court order, subpoena, or government investigation. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to protect our rights, to protect your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate suspected violations of our Terms of Service.

Should we go through a merger, acquisition, or a sale of some or all of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any change in the ownership or use of your personal information will be announced by email or by a prominent notice on this website.

Do Not Track

Certain browsers send Do Not Track signals to the sites they visit. There is no universally accepted standard for responding to those signals, so we do not currently change our practices based on the signal alone. You can use browser privacy controls or content blockers to limit optional third-party analytics and embedded content.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, evaluate and carry out an advisory engagement, communicate service updates, document consent, protect the forms from abuse, and meet business or legal record-keeping needs. Vehicle details help us prepare for dealer outreach; contact details let us follow up and deliver engagement communications.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or promotional use.

Information Sharing

Negotiating on your behalf may require communicating with automotive dealers, carriers, and financing institutions. We limit those communications to information reasonably needed for the transaction, and we do not give a dealer your personal contact details without your direction or consent.

Web3Forms processes inquiry and intake submissions; Cloudflare Turnstile helps screen form traffic for abuse; Stripe processes checkout and payment information; Vercel hosts and measures the site; and Elfsight supplies the embedded review widgets. These providers process information for their respective services under their own terms and privacy policies. Payment card details are entered with the payment processor and are not collected by our site forms.

Information We Collect

When you send an inquiry or intake form through www.meridianautoadvisory.com, we collect the fields you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, vehicle details, purchase timeline, and free-form notes. We also record consent and submission evidence: the form identifier, submission identifier, source page, submission timestamp, whether SMS consent was given, the consent text shown, and its text-version identifier.

Our hosting, form, and security providers may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and Turnstile verification data for delivery, security, and performance purposes. Payment information is entered directly with the payment processor rather than in our site forms.

Nevada Privacy Rights

Under Nevada SB 220, Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of their personal information. We do not sell personal information. For questions, email legal@meridianautoadvisory.com and put "Nevada Privacy" in the subject line.

Security

The site and form endpoints use HTTPS. We do not request credit card numbers or Social Security numbers in our inquiry forms, and checkout card data is handled by the payment processor. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not place sensitive financial identifiers in free-form fields.

SMS and Mobile Data Sharing

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers that transmit or process an inquiry may handle the information only as needed to deliver the form, prevent abuse, maintain consent records, or support requested communications. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out.

Third-Party Links

Links on this site may lead to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are their own — this policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for them. Take a moment to review the privacy policy of any outside site you visit.

Transfer of Personal Data

Meridian Auto Advisory LLC serves clients nationwide, so your personal information may be processed and stored outside the state where you live. By using this website and our services, you consent to your information being transferred to the State of Delaware, where our business is registered, and to any other jurisdiction in which our service providers operate. Wherever the processing happens, we take reasonable steps to keep your data secure and handled in accordance with this privacy policy.
